Painful Sex

CJ asks:

I've just recently started having sex with my boyfriend, after a long spell of having none.

When I started having sex it was painful, but then got better as time went on. Now its back to being painful again, and I don't like telling my boyfriend to stop, so I just try to grin and bare it. I've tryed different positions and nothing seems to help...Its not that he's too big, as my ex was alot bigger than him...

Any ideas or tips on how i could try to improve sex with him. Thanks

CJ

You must tell your boyfriend when he's hurting you. Sex is meant to be enjoyable so you don't want to go on like this forever.

It is probably down to the fact you may be feeling tense, especially if you havn't had sex for a while.

Try and relax and lots of lube and foreplay should help.

First things first, when you're experiencing pain then tell your boyfriend to stop. You're meant to be having fun not grinning and bearing it!

You could be experiencing pain if you are tense but the best thing to do is discuss this with your doctor. They can advise on what may be causing the pain.

And don't be embarrassed, they deal with things like this all the time.
