Perhaps one way you could compromise is to take a camping trip- and have sex quietly on the edge of a campsite (so you don't disturb families) or somewhere off the beaten track so you don't have to worry about noise and can be as expressive as you want. That way you partner can enjoy the great outdoors while your fear of being caught can be put to rest.
You don't have to make it into a new hobby or your permanent holiday destination every year, however when the mood takes you, a weekend roughing it a bit might just be the thing your relationship needs to keep you both happy.
