Why am I so turned on by raincoats?

Perhaps your wife is not keen because it's an unusual thing to be turned on by. It's possible she isn't aware of how passionate you are.

Perhaps you find them so arousing because they have an element of mystery to them if the hood conceals the face or maybe it's the material that you find so pleasing. It could be that you like the idea of your partner wearing little or nothing underneath or the colour that appeals to you. Perhaps you associate a raincoat with sex in the outdoors or a previous sexual encounter where your partner was wearing one.

Whatever your reason- it might be wise to clarify why it means so much to you and why you find it so sexy.

She may come around to the idea if you reinforce how much you would like her to wear one, have sex on one or indeed if you want to wear one during intercourse. She might be prepared to try it once and see how it feels for her if it means that much to you. You never know she might enjoy it too.

With that said- if she is really against it- it's probably not a good idea to keep asking her to share in this fantasy or indeed persist in trying to change her mind. Be mindful that she might never see the appeal even if you continue to do so and labouring the point might drive her away emotionally and physically. 

This may be something that is unique to you rather than something you share as a couple so you might have show your love for raincoats in your own time.
