An 102-year-old woman says the secret to a long life is drinking wine and avoiding men.

Dolly Burrows, from The Dell in Colchester recently celebrated her birthday and credited her long-life to spending time travelling, playing scrabble having a glass of red wine every night and ''staying away from men''.
Granddaughter Susan, 53, said: ''She didn't stop travelling until she was 96.
''She plays Scrabble and cards every day and has a little glass of red wine every night. She says that helps.''
Susan added of the major surgery Dolly had last year: ''When she's in hospital the staff are amazed and when they ask her how she does it she says 'a glass of red wine and staying away from men'.
''Her holidays were her main passion and her 100th birthday is a special memory as she had family from Italy and America come to visit.
''She has travelled around all the Canary Islands and Spain.''
