Chocolate taster quits over heart attack fears

A British chocolate taster has been forced to quit his dream job over heart attack fears.

''In the last couple of years, I've put on some considerable weight and a recent check-up showed my arteries were far from fighting fit.''

Angus Kennedy, 47, was warned by doctors that if he continues to do his £30,000-a-year dream job then he could die after piling on two stone since landing the job in 2010.

Angus' cholesterol level was deemed ''dangerously high'', and he has now started an exercise regime in order to shift some of the extra pounds.

He is quoted by the Daily Telegraph as saying: ''I'll really miss being Willy Wonka. Eating chocolate for a living really was the dream job. I was given a Golden Ticket to sample the world's craziest, tastiest new goodies and review them in the magazine.

''The only problem with eating chocolate from 9 to 5, of course, is the predictable weight gain and high cholesterol.
