A bride lived out a childhood dream of going to McDonald's on her wedding day.

Sammie Trueman, 26, and her husband Richard, 25, tied the knot over the August bank holiday, but after missing out on the canapes during their reception, the starving couple decided to head to the nearest fast food restaurant.
The bride had the idea to treat themselves to a take-away on her special day when she was just 14, but never thought it would actually happen, the Sun Online has reported.
She said: ''Ever since I was 14 years old I had always said that I wanted to eat in McDonald's on my wedding day, I just can't believe that we actually did it.''
