Lockdown has taken its toll on relationships with tensions running high over cleanliness, what to watch on TV, snoring and even bedroom antics – according to new research from Just Eat.

The study also found that deciding what takeaway to have is also a bone of contention, with 40 per cent of couples saying they disagree on what to have.

To avoid any relationship drama, Just Eat are teaming up with 'Love Island' stars Alex and Olivia Bowen to indulge in a Breakaway so they can have their own different meals.

Alex said: "Olivia and I always find it really difficult when choosing what food to order because we have such different tastes, I love burritos – they’re definitely my takeaway weakness - but she can’t stand them so it does make it quite difficult for us to always agree on the same thing. Opting for a Breakaway with Just Eat is definitely the way forward for us and we can't wait to tuck in to our own dishes this Valentine's Day."

Just Eat are giving 50 couples the chance to win a £40 voucher for a Breakaway. To enter, customers must email [email protected] and describe what their partner or friend's perfect "breakaway" meals would be.
