Two brothers have created a map showing open public toilets in Britain.

Thomas and Charlie Riley wanted to help people who get caught short as they take advantage of lockdown restrictions.

A number of public loos across the country have been closed to limit the spread of coronavirus.

The Lockdown Loo map includes public toilets that are open, as well as ones in service stations, train station and businesses that are open.

The pair have encouraged the public to inform them of open toilets so they can improve the accuracy of the map.

The brothers said: ''This website is only as useful as the information we are supplied.

''If you know of toilets which are open - whether they are at pubs, stations, cafes or in a public park - please submit them.

''We are also monitoring council updates and speaking to businesses.''
