A couple moved into a home made out of recycled materials.
Laura Davies and David Buchanan spent seven years designing and building the Earthship, which is built from materials such bottles, cans and tires.
The pair decided to build the property as they wanted a home that was low cost and had a small environmental footprint.
Laura told Australia's Business Insider: ''Sometimes I'll wake up, and I'll say to Dave, 'Did we really build this?'
''There is a real sense of achievement, not in a sort of bragging way, but more the wonder that you can actually do it.''
The couple who live in Spain embraced Michael Reynold's Earthship concept to achieve their dream home.
She said: ''They're just so beautiful, so handmade. And the concept was really good. I just thought, 'Wow, we could actually build this ourselves.'''
