A couple were left horrified after discovering a huntsman spider in their Amazon parcel.

Mark and Gemma Smith had purchased some Christmas decorations from the online retail giant where they found the poisonous creature lurking as they opened the packaging.
Gemma, who is an arachnophobe, told LADbible: "I opened up the parcel and I said, 'Holy f***. I literally chucked the box.'
"I didn't know if there were any more in there."
Gemma called her husband after the shocking discovery but he was at work at the time.
Mark said: "I said, 'Do you know if it's alive?' but she did not know.
"She just said it was massive.
"I don't know where the package came from. It must have been alive when it got in there."
