Patricia Ann Hason - a reporter at Ontario Superior Court in Toronto - was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery with a firearm against Francois Lavoie on 8 November.

She was released on $3,000 bail last week at College Park courts.

The single mother of two - who was hired in 2015 to make audio recordings of court proceedings and to take annotated notes - is no longer working at the courthouse and will be back in court on January 18.

Sources told the Toronto Sun that she orchestrated but never participated in a ''staged'' home invasion at the dwelling of the father of her older teenage son.

The teen voluntarily moved back into his father's home in Toronto and it's alleged the incident was meant to compel her son to return to his mom's home.

Toronto Police have refused to comment on the investigation.
