A new TV channel created specifically for dogs has launched.

Dog TV

Dog TV

DogTV has been introduced for canines after three years of research and will air scientifically-tested programmes aiming to alleviate separation anxiety and stress in pooches from today (08.11.21).

The network is launching in the UK and has been developed following studies into animals' physiological and psychological needs, moods and responses.

Colours, audio frequencies and camera alignment have all been adapted to cater for dog senses.

Professor Nicholas Dodman, chief executive for DogTV, said: "DogTV is an excellent resource for dog owners to help alleviate some of the behavioural problems that can arise when dogs are left alone.

"With numbers of dog owners rising over the pandemic, and owners now returning to work, DogTV helps canines to feel relaxed and comforted until their owners return home."

The channel will also feature shows for dog owners, including programmes by celebrity dog trainer Laura Nativo and programmes providing simple recipes for pooches.
