A new bill is being lobbied for in Kentucky after two dogs were certified as welders.
Bizarre on Female First
In a bizarre turn of events, documents officially certified pooches Robert Dash and Henry Wolfe as structural welders, as the American Welding Standards was found to not be strict enough with its guidelines.
Although welders wanting certification are meant to demonstrate their skills in person and show some photo ID, it seems groups testing the system were able to bypass this.
According to Bill Woodward - the Iron Workers of Southern Ohio and Vicinity District President - another dog called Adam Barker and a dead person were also granted certification.
Kentucky House Bill 239 looks to make the guidelines law rather than a suggestion.
