A spillage of pies caused lengthy delays for drivers in Stockport.

Part of the busy A6 was covered in dozens of pies after they fell out a van causes a mess on the roadway and drivers were urged to avoid using Buxton Road in Davenport.
Writing on Twitter, Stagecoach said: ''192 Svc. Possible delays to services due to a pie van that has shed its load on Buxton Road/Woodsmoor Lane junction.(sic)''
Transport for Greater Manchester said: ''Expect delays on A6 Buxton Road near the junction of Woodsmoor Road due to an incident involving a van.''
