Over 500 students and staff members were evacuated from the RMIT University in Australia on Saturday afternoon (28.04.18) so that 40 firefighters, including masked crews, could investigate the stench caused by the rotting fruit.

The fruit is native to south-east Asia and although the creamy interior is enjoyed as a dessert, the fruit in its raw form has been banned on Singapore's subways and in some hotels and public spaces around Asia because of its strong and unpleasant smell.
