The Edenbridge Bonfire Society in Kent has chosen the larger-than-life politician as its celebrity Guy for this year, with Boris beating off the competition on account of his ''continuing habit'' of creating headlines with ''never-ending gaffes''.
In the process, Boris - who is the former Mayor of London - will be following in the footsteps of Harvey Weinstein and Donald Trump as the effigy of choice, Sky News reports.
The enlarged version of Boris will feature the Conservative Party politician wearing mismatched socks and a cycle helmet.
