A former Disney World employee was arrested for stealing costumes from animatronics.

Patrick Allen Spikes, 24, of Orlando, Florida, was arrested and jailed on Friday (17.05.19) after bosses claimed he stole more than $7,000 in costumes other items from the Haunted Mansion attraction.
An investigation began in August when ''one-of-a-kind'' items including a bomber jacket and large headphones were stolen from the Buzzy animatronic at the closed Cranium Command attraction at Epcot.
According to investigators, Spikes, who was a suspect in the theft, later posted backstage pictures of Buzzy on a Twitter account he ran called Backdoor Disney as well as sending photos of several other stolen items to a fellow Disney employee.
