In the hilarious incident, the Twitter user claims to have made her match believe they were using the same digits to communicate on the dating app.
She captioned the tweet: ''I just convinced a tinder boy we had the same number so I didn't have to text him. (sic)''
Upon offering his number, the woman replied:''Wait wtf...that's my number.''
The man, in disbelief responded: ''That's impossible...Call that number right now.''
The two went back and forth and the woman explained that when she tried to call him, it simply wouldn't let her and made her put in her voicemail password.
The pair then came to the decision that their identical provider had somehow made a mistake and given them the same number.
