High-intensity exercise can help men in the bedroom.
A study has found that just seven minutes of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) each day reduced symptoms of premature ejaculation in under two weeks.
A team from East China Normal University recruited 76 men aged between 18 and 34 for the study and randomly assigned them to three groups - one of which practiced HIIT exercises while the others performed slow and normal breathing exercises respectively.
Analysis revealed that men lasted longer between the sheets after HIIT sessions and the normal breathing exercises, but those in the slower breathing group saw no improvement.
The researchers wrote in the International Journal of Clinical and Health Psychology: "Compared to the control group, the efficacy of two weeks of HIIT exercise in mitigating premature ejaculation symptoms suggests its potential as a novel treatment."
