A mind-reading helmet will enable humans to connect their minds to artificial intelligence by 2030, a biohacker has claimed.

Bryan Johnson has developed the helmet that he hopes can provide an exact picture of what's happening inside the human brain.
The device uses laser light to measure the precise oxygenation of blood deep inside the brain and also records the electrical impulse of neurons firing across the organ.
Johnson told Bloomberg magazine: "To make progress on all the fronts that we need to as a society, we have to bring the brain online.
"We are the first generation in the history of Homo sapiens who could look out over our lifetimes and imagine evolving into an entirely novel form of conscious existence.
"The things I am doing can create a bridge for humans to use where our technology will become part of our self."
