Tai Star Valianti smashed his previous best of 353 blocks from last year by constructing an inverted pyramid from the blocks.

Valianti took two hours to build his record-breaking effort and soon allowed his son to knock it all down.

Speaking on a YouTube video explaining the build, he said: ''The tower stood for almost nine minutes before I got my son to come in and knock it down.

Guinness World Records described Tai as a ''master Jenga stacker'' and marvelled at his ''physics-defying'' tower.

It said in a statement: ''The most incredible part of the tower is that as Tai builds, he expands it outwards from the single Jenga block giving it a physics-defying appearance.

''Surprisingly, the centre remains hollow where the first standing Jenga block is placed.''
