A woman from Kent has been abused by American sports fans after she was mistaken for an NFL player.

Dee Ford shares the same name as the Kansas City Chiefs linebacker who recently gave away a penalty after he was caught offside - and sports fans in the States were not shy in voicing their displeasure.
However, they confused the NFL star with the dog lover from Gillingham, who was inundated with abusive messages.
She told the Kansas City Star newspaper: ''The phone was going off literally nonstop.
''Some of the things were quite vicious. The things they're saying - he doesn't deserve it.''
