The fried chicken fast-food chain trialled a plant-based version of its classic Original Recipe Fillet Burger, named The Imposter, last month and after just four days it clocked up 500 per cent more sales than the launch of a normal chicken burger.

And as of Tuesday (02.07.19), fans can wing their way to restaurants across London, Bristol and The Midlands to get their hands on The Imposter range however it'll only be available while supplies last.

The much-anticipated treat also features fresh iceberg lettuce, creamy vegan mayo that will all be housed in a soft glazed bun.

Victoria Robertson, Senior Innovation Leader at KFC said: ''With such a phenomenal demand, we knew we had to stock up on KFC's first ever vegan burger...and fast! We've loved sharing our iconic Original Recipe with vegans and veggies and now even more fans will have the chance to try it.''
