In a shocking viral Twitter post, Eric - who tweets under the handle @EricD14 - shared a screenshot of the unusual request he was asked by a potential suitor in a post captioned 'goes on first date, scared he'll ghost but instead gets this text'.
The text exchange reads: ''On my way to the gym now, can you do me a favour?''
Eric replied: ''Yeah, what do you need?''
His date said: ''Click on my contact, press the 'I' then turn on read receipts.''
Eric simply replied: ''What!?!''
One shocked user responded: ''I turn the read receipts on for no one.(sic)''
