A McDonald’s customer immediately regretted offering to buy someone else's meal after being hit with a $31.45 bill.

TikTok user Vinisha has documented her random act of kindness on the popular app, but her gesture at the McDonald’s drive-thru didn't go as she'd initially planned.
In the video, Vinisha tells the cashier: “I’d like to pay for the person behind me, if possible."
But then, she's informed that the person in the queue had ordered $31.45 worth of food - leaving Vinisha in a very awkward situation.
Vinisha - who is clearly shocked by the cost - later says: "So I paid for the person behind me. I didn’t expect it to be $30 but that’s my random act of kindness for the day. I encourage you all to do it."
