Dean Gould was able to reel off the names of all those who survived the 1912 disaster when the infamous ship sunk after hitting an iceberg in a time of 41 minutes and 23 seconds.

The memory man used the ancient Greek method of 'loci', which involves imagery, to help him memorise every single name without breaking sweat.

Gould told The Sun newspaper: "One of the names on the list was Albert Fryer, so I created a mental image of Albert Einstein holding a frying pan.

"Then there was William Weller, so I pictured my son’s friend William, standing next to the singer, Paul Weller."

Gould has broken more than 50 world records since the 1980s - including beer mat flipping and speed darts - but rates this effort as his best as it is "such an important part of history".
