A meteorologist has advised people not to eat icicles.

Katie Nickolaou has urged people not to take a bite of the frozen rain water as, revoltingly, the icicles are full of bird poo. The scientist decided to make the warning clip after watching a number of viral videos showing people eating icicles.
In a video posted on Twitter, Katie explained: "Please don't do that. I'm a meteorologist, I should know.
"When icicles form, it's from water that melts off of your roof and runs down the side of a building.
"Well, here's the thing. You know what else is on your roof? Bird poo, a lot of it, and that water picks it up and freezes it in the ice. You're eating poop."
