McDonald's

Private yacht tycoon Viktor Martynov was holidaying in the Crimea, an area with sanctions that forbid Western companies from opening in the region, but was desperate for a Big Mac and fries.

Martynov chartered a helicopter for £2,000 so he could travel to a McDonald's and eat some "normal food".

He and his girlfriend picked up Big Macs, French fries and milkshakes to satisfy their hunger.

Martynov told LADbible: "This is how it was - I was on holiday with my girlfriend in Alushta.

"We had a craving for normal Moscow food...

"We decided to board a helicopter, fly to Krasnodar and go to McDonald's.

"We had a meal there and got back."
