A mother in China was horrified when a monkey punched her toddler.

The woman was caught on camera holding out some food for the primate while her daughter stood at the side watching, but when she drew her hand back, the furious creature lashed out and hit the little girl so hard, she flew backwards.
The tot fell down some steps and was left lying down at the bottom.
Though it's not clear whether the girl was hurt in the incident, she appeared to be moving at the end of the video.
The China Global TV Network, which obtained the footage, said the woman had been teasing the monkey.
