The man - known only by his surname Yaun - was found with a severed artery and covered in blood near sty after being attacked and killed by the bovine.

According to the South China Morning Post, he was found by his cousin - with whom he's travelled to sell 15 pigs at the market in Liupanshui - with a hog in a neighbouring sty also found with blood on its month.

It's said a forensic examination confirmed the 550 pound pig - who didn't belong to Yaun or his cousin Wu - had killed him.

Wu told the Guiyang Evening News: ''My cousin's legs were bloody and mangled.''
