A red panda escaped from a zoo after a tree branch fell on the animal's enclosure and created a bridge for freedom.

Curraghs Wildlife Park on the Isle of Man confirmed that 'Kush', one of three red pandas at the park, climbed out of its enclosure last Wednesday (16.10.19).
Park staff, who believe Kush is hiding in a tree, have asked the public to keep an eye out for the animal but not to approach the animal in case it strikes out.
The park said red pandas are ''very good at hiding'' and finding him was like looking for ''a needle in a haystack''. They had initially hoped that Kush would return of his own accord, but it is yet to do so.
Park manager Kathleen Graham said red pandas, which are slightly larger than domestic cats, are ''very hardy'' but added that she was very ''concerned'' about locating the missing animal.
There was a sighting of the animal near the A3 on Thursday (17.10.19) but he has since ''vanished'' once again.
