Scientist proves no life after death

A physicist named Sean Carroll thinks there is ''no way'' afterlife can exist when a person dies because their consciousness, which is a series of atoms and electrons, cannot be separated from the physical body and does not function when a person has passed away, the Metro Online has reported.

Speaking about his beliefs, the professor at the California Institute of Technology said: ''Claims that some form of consciousness persists after our bodies die and decay into their constituent atoms faces one huge insuperable obstacle; the laws of physics underlying everyday life are completely understood.

''There's no way within those laws to allow for the information stored in our brains to persist after we die.''
