A seagull swooped and killed a pigeon that was being fed by an elderly man.

Passers-by in Honiton High Street, Devon, were shocked when they witnessed the seagull take out its fellow bird in a single blow and local bus driver Stuart Davis, who witnessed the violent attack, insisted the incident ''frightened the hell'' out of the unknown man.
Stuart said: ''I was stood at my bus watching the pigeon eating some bread some guy was feeding him and then all of a sudden the seagull went for it, pretty much killed it with its first attack, poor thing.
''It was a little old man, bless him. It frightened the hell out of him.''
