Angela Nava created 'The Candy Shop' in her own back garden to mark Halloween but has been ordered to remove it by local authorities in Texas who feel that it is obscene.

The display features three skeleton strippers in provocative positions along with other ghoulish characters.

Nava has hit back at those who want the decorations removed and suggested it is a violation of her creative freedom.

She told local media outlet WTNH: "I believe we live in the greatest country in the entire world.

"We do have the right to self-expression and creativity. And this is my way of being creative and having an outlet. There's no harm. I'm not hurting anyone."
