The misleading special event in Guishan Zoo, which cost 15 RMB (£1.60) to enter, in China attracted a large number of visitors but they were understandably angry when they realised the bosses had stood up rubber lookalikes instead of the real animals.

As well as being disappointed with the lack of real penguins, the only real animals were chickens, ducks and tortoises and visitors were not refunded, according to the BBC.
