A Whataburger has reopened after a mouse jumped into its deep fryer.

A Bastrop, Texas branch of the fast food joint closed when disturbing footage went viral over the weekend as customers went wild over the small scared rodent scurrying around the food prep area and leaping into the bubbling grease.
In a statement, the company told local news station KVUE: ''We closed the restaurant out of an abundance of caution and notified pest control. The entire restaurant has since been cleaned and sanitised.''
In a since-deleted Facebook post, the restaurant noted this location has ''no history'' of problems like this in the past.
