Officers from Lafayette, Louisiana say they were conducting a traffic stop Monday when Kiana Champagne Fletcher began barking at a police dog sniffing the stopped car.

The officers then recognized the 20-year-old and knew she had two outstanding warrants.

The police reportedly say she ran inside her house, but officers arrested her after obtaining a search warrant.

The woman remains jailed on warrants for theft and operating a vehicle without a license.

She also faces preliminary charges of possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia after police say they found drugs in her home.

At present, records do not report any legal representation on Kiana's behalf.
