Woman drinks dog's urine and claims it cures acne

Lynn Lew, who is from the US, shared a video of herself showing how she collects her pet's wee by holding plastic up underneath the mutt as it did its business up a tree, before she downs the yellow stuff.

In the clip posted on her Facebook, she says: ''Many of you asked me how I always look so good, how my makeup always looks so perfect, or how I always have this natural glow.''

However, many viewers have commented, saying it's fake because the cup isn't visible when the dog is peeing.

However, Lynn goes on to claim that it can even cure cancer.

She added: ''Until I first drank my dog's pee, I was depressed I was sad, and I had bad acne.

''Dog pee has vitamin A in it, Vitamin E in it, and it has 10 grams of calcium, and it's also proven to help cure cancer.''

However, a health expert says that drinking wee from an animal has no benefits whatsoever and warned that doing so long-term could cause ''serious complications''.

Dr Zubair Ahmed of MedicSpot GP told Metro.co.uk: ''It is a common belief that urine is sterile - which it normally is if you don't have a problem with your renal tact.

''However, once it leaves the body, it can be contaminated with bacteria.

''Ingesting bacteria can make you feel unwell and can lead to serious complications.

''Urination is one way where your body gets rid of toxic products.

''There is no evidence at all that ingesting these substances have any health benefits.''
