CCTV footage has shown a woman dressed as a ghost trying to terrify motorists at night.

A video clip has emerged of a man driving down a motorway when the scary-looking woman - who is dressed in white - appears from nowhere, and gives him a fright.
The video has been uploaded to YouTube, with a description of the video reading: ''As the man in the film rides on a country road, a ''ghostly woman in white'' with no lower body suddenly appears in the middle of the road.
''Then it disappeared only to reappear for one last scare. (sic)''
