Airos

Airos

Airos is the 3rd book in the Finding Home Series. There has been a lead-up in the first 2 books of Zane and Larken's "relationship", and Airos tells that story - or does it? The question is, does Zane and Larken get together, and who's this new guy thrown into the mix? Hmmmm, I wonder ;).

This is book three in the Finding Home series, so what can you tell us about the first two?

For each book in the series main characters get their own stories of love. In the first book, Pavarus, the readers are first introduced to another realm of Earth, one where vampires and dragons and magic folk live. Wesley, a human from Earth, stumbles across this realm and it is there that he meets the commander of the vampire warriors, Remus. The story continues on telling their time together and the struggles they face.

Book two, Morvea, tells the story of Keddrick, sire of the vampires, and Eli, Keddrick's personal helper on Earth. Their story takes place on both Pavarus and Earth, were they battle with the threat of a human council member.

Please can you tell us about the character of Zane?

Zane has to be one of my favourite characters. He's arrogant, grumpy, rude, and completely misunderstood. Truly a good guy at heart, his needing to prove himself to the other warriors creates a hard facade that leaves him alone and with only one friend. But he also hides a secret, one that is exposed to the other vampires in Airos.

Why does your heart belong in the south?

That's a good question - I honestly don't know. To me, when I think of the south, I think of home. What can I say, I'm a country girl at heart. :)

You generally have a nose in a book if you are not writing, so who are your favourite reads?

Oh gawd, there are sooooo many. Pretty much anything by J.R. Ward, J.L. Langley, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Karen Marie Moning, Andrew Grey, and the list goes on and on!

You often debate which movie to pick with your partner, so what type of films do you like to watch?

Every type. I'll happily watch action, drama, romance, horror, etc. - you name it, I'll probably watch it (or already have, lol!).

Why is laughing so important to you?

Because not matter what, no matter how bad your day may be, laughing with always lift your spirits. I mean, who doesn't feel better after having a good laugh?

You type your stories on your laptop, so what else do you need for a perfect writing environment?

Silence - complete silence! I can write anywhere, but it has to be quiet.

What is next for you?

I'm trying my hardest to finish up the last 2 books in the Finding Home Series, but I also have about 10 other stories that I'm writing. I've pretty much succumbed to writing whichever story is on my mind - there's no ignoring the muses plaguing my head, and I've grown tired of trying to force myself to focus on writing only one story at a time. So, I now go with the flow. :)
