Are you thinking of starting up your own business?

A new radio shows aims to target people and give them that little extra push and knowledge to set up their own business.

Unemployment is a word that we've heard a lot over the past couple of years and as the figures start to slowly increase we can finally look ahead to the future and forget about the doom and gloom of the R-word - recession if you've somehow managed to forget it.

Samantha Sutherland is a letting agent who set up her own online agency from the comfort of her home and managed to make a profit in a record of six days after launching. After years of running the business successfully she has decided to share her knowledge and wisdom with those looking sto start a small business.

She says: "The Prime Minister David Cameron has been talking a lot about enterprise, and the radio show is a direct response to that. I have discovered the benefits of being an entrepreneur in terms of the liberty and the earning power, and I am hoping the radio show will spur others to excel in that area."

The show called 'Start up Great Britain' - which is aired on the internet - sees her interviewing entrepreneurs about how they started up, any barriers they faced along the road to success and their own personal triumphant stories.

Samantha set up the show with the hope to enlighten, stimulate and encourage people to start working for themselves, running a small business. She also has her own signature cours, 'Set up and run your own letting agency' which teaches students how to run their own online letting agency from their home - it gives a direct insight into how she managed to do this.
