After a short appearance in last Saturday's victory over France, Danny Cipriani appealed to coach Stuart Lancaster for more game time in an attempt to prove his World Cup credentials.

Although the 27-year-old only managed one touch as a second-half replacement at Twickenham, Lancaster appears to have complied, naming Cipriani as a replacement for the next match in Paris.

The Paris starting line-up contains 14 changes, with Cipriani named as cover for fly-half George Ford and full-back Mike Brown.

"Having reviewed last Saturday there were a lot of things we were pleased with considering it was the first game. There is now an opportunity for those not involved or who didn't get much opportunity from the bench to put a marker down and build on that performance," Lancaster told the Guardian.

Danny Care, Jamie George, and Nick Easter are among the replacements expected to be joining Cipriani on the bench.
