Relations between Violet (Jenny Platt) and Sean (Antony Cotton) are still tense. She’s livid that he found out the sex of the baby behind her back and told other people. However, when she and Jamie (Rupert Hill) go to the café for a chat, she can see that Jamie found out accidentally and only wanted to protect her and decides to forgive Sean, focussing all her anger on Marcus (Charlie Condou). When Violet sees Marcus in the street she tells him she’s disgusted at his breach of confidence and is going to report him to the hospital. Sean panics that Marcus’s going to lose his job and pleads with Violet not to blame Marcus. She relents, but reminds him that he has no right to interfere, this is her baby not theirs. Sean is gutted, but will he get the message?Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) and Maria (Samia Smith) are just about managing to pay their rent and, wanting to make things more permanent with John, Fiz is pleased when Maria agrees to letting him move in to help pay the bills. Desperate to get away from her trouble-making brother and start married life properly, Sarah (Tina O'Brien) decides to get an evening job. Leanne (Jane Danson) agrees to take her on as a part time waitress, but when an excited Sarah arrives home to tell Jason (Ryan Jason), she’s furious to discover that he’s in the pub, spending the money she’s earning!.Elsewhere, Jodie’s fed up when Lloyd dumps her before they’ve managed to go a proper date.
