will.i.am allegedly turned Jessie J's microphone off

Will.i.am sabotaged Jessie J's performance on 'The Voice' UK according to a contestant.

Becky Hill, 18, who was saved by the 'Domino' singer so she could continue to have a place on the show, claimed that the Black Eyed Peas star fiddled with her equipment.

She told Daily Star: "Will saw that there was so much competition from Team Jessie he switched her mic off."

Jessie, 24, stopped mid-performance when she could not hear her vocals because her microphone pack had not been switched on.

But last night (25.05.12) the BBC said Becky's comments about the 37-year-old were a joke and it was simply an accident.

Tonight (26.05.12) Becky and Vince Kidd, 22, from Jessie J's team compete in the semi-finals against six rivals from the three other teams which include Sir Tom Jones' group and The Script's Danny O'Donoghue's competitors.

Meanwhile Tom has admitted "nothing has been sorted" with signing up to the programme next year.

Despite previously claiming he was on board to appear in the next series, he now admits nothing has been set in stone.

He said: "There's been talk of [returning] and I'm in if they want the same team but nothing has been sorted yet.

"But it's been a great team, full of talent."
