Zak (Steve Halliwell) and Lisa (Jane Cox) meet with Belles (Eden Taylor-Draper) head teacher who reveals that theres nothing more that the board of governors can do to keep Belle at the school. When Belle suspects that somethings going on, theyre forced to reveal the bad news, omitting the real reason why Rosemary (Linda Thorson) cant pay her fees anymore. When Belle later wins the spelling competition, Zak and Lisa are pained to see just how much the school really means to her. Can they find other means of funding Belles education?Elsewhere, Lexis (Sally Oliver) suspicions are once more aroused when she sees Debbie (Charley Webb) with Pollard (Chris Chittell). Debbie, meanwhile, attempts to find a new buyer for the necklace with little success. After Lexi sees her on the phone at the garage, she sneaks in afterwards and presses redial, discovering who Debbies been speaking with. Saddened, Grayson (Christopher Villiers) tries to get in touch with Perdy (Georgia Slowe), to no avail, as Paddys (Dominic Brunt) surprised to find Rosemarys disappeared overnight and isnt answering her mobile. He raises his concerns to Grayson, who tells him in no uncertain terms that couldnt care less where his mother is his days of worrying about her are over.
