Everyone needs good neighbours, but rarely can they be found. Case in point: Amanda's new tenant. As Belle goes to deliver the spare set of keys to the Bay’s newcomer, she's shocked by what – or rather, whom – she finds. It's Jazz, of course. (Cue a speedy end to Leah, Dan and Drew's celebrations over her supposed departure.) Surprisingly, however, the two end up having a good ol' chinwag about their life and loves, even enjoying a bottle of champagne. But it just so happens to be the case that Belle's called in early for her shift at the diner, where Irene's forced to send her home for being, well, drunk on the job. Drew revels in Belle's bad luck – until he finds out whom it was that plied her with alcohol in the first place. Nevertheless, Belle eventually manages to sweet-talk him into visiting Jazz, and he's pleasantly surprised by what it is she’s so desperately wanted to say all this time: "What I did to you was the first in a long line of screw-ups. I decided if I really wanted to change, I had to try and fix up my relationship with you." Sounds like she's only human, after all (well, you couldn't help but wonder).Rocking the boat (again)Meanwhile, another rivalry continues. As if landing Lucas in hot water the first time wasn't enough, Geoff finds the perfect opportunity to come back for seconds. You see, Lucas has decided that the best way to rebuild his relationship with Tony is by buying him a new boat. Alf directs him to a find near the Surf Club and, although Luc's worried that the price is a little out of his reach, points out that some (reparable) damage to it means that he may be able to haggle. But when Geoff stumbles across the scene, he assumes that Lucas has deliberately vandalised the boat – and steps forward as an eyewitness when the owner makes a complaint to the police.

Alf vouches for Lucas and gets him out of trouble, but it does little to ease the fact that Geoff interfering has meant that the boat's now been sold to someone else. Another confrontation follows, but matters are about to get so much worse – the U18s rugby team has found a new, and very talented, recruit in Geoff.

And with Alf handing over the coaching reins to Tony, who's also spotted Geoff's sporting potential, this little rivalry looks set to continue...

Working 9 'til 5?

Drew may not be too devastated to discover that Jazz has been booted out the house, but he's less than thrilled by the prospect of finding a job.

Acting on Belle's advice, Drew applies for Kim's old position at the Gym, where Tony tells him that, without the necessary qualifications, he won't be able to do any personal training - not that we're quite sure what else Drew could have been expecting.

Having decided that anything else would be beneath him, Drew turns down the job, prompting Dan and Leah to issue him with an ultimatum: unless he's got himself a job within the next week, he's going back to school.
