Dylan risks a return to gaol when he confesses to Sky that it was he who took baby Kerry. Sky is incredulous, then outraged but Dylan is quick to explain that his actions probably saved Kerry’s life, given that he found her in passed-out Stingray’s arms in the cold dark night. Sky decides not to report Dylan to the police, on the condition that he cease claiming to be Kerry’s father, but Dylan declines, certain that a DNA test will prove him right. When stricken Karl reveals there’s a small chance that Dylan could be the father, a devastated Sky announces her decision to have baby Kerry paternity tested. Shocked Janelle warns Karl that if the test comes back proving he was wrong, she will make him pay for his big mistake.Elle panics when Dylan reveals he has confessed all to Sky. Elle is secretly eager to believe Stingray is Kerry’s father, but knows if she wants to be with Dylan she has little choice but to support him with his claims. Seeking a distraction from her problems with Dylan, Elle steps in and helps Will behind the bar on a very busy Melbourne Cup day. Lyn notes Elle and Will’s easy rapport and wonders if Elle really wants a relationship with Dylan – given that it’s already failed once. But Elle points out that Lyn of all people should know you can’t help who you fall in love with.Harold and Loris’s ‘first date’ is almost ruined when she learns her husband wants a divorce. But Loris soon cheers when she realises how lucky she is to have someone as loving and loyal as Harold in her life.
