Robbie Williams has revealed he wants to be like ageing rocker Bono. The heartthrob pop singer says he would like a new sound which attracts a different audience - like U2's success with chart-topping album 'Achtung Baby'. He said: "I sort of worship Bono. A new generation of fans came to U2. I'm hoping to do that with my next album." Meanwhile, Robbie has confessed to having a unique way of getting inspiration for his music - recording songs in the nude. The singer confessed: "I'm probably going to be one of those very embarrassing fathers who's a naturist when I'm older. I guess when it comes down to it, I just like taking my pants down!" Robbie first discovered how much he enjoyed nudity when he stripped off to record a song on 'Escapology' as a joke.
He revealed: "I took my pants down for a laugh while recording one of the songs on 'Escapology' and everybody laughed, so I laughed.
Then I thought, 'Actually, I quite like this,' and then everyone got a bit uneasy because I refused to put my clothes on!
Everyone was like, 'Put it away, there's nothing to see!' And there really isn't, but it was liberating."
