The Maroon 5 frontman, who works alongside the new couple on 'The Voice' USA, thinks the 'Used to Love You' hitmaker is a "wonderful person" and couldn't be happier his close pal has embarked on a new romance with the blonde beauty.

He said: "They're my friends. Gwen and I have really bonded lately. She's just the coolest, most wonderful person ever."

Adam and Blake are very close friends so the trio have been spending a lot more time together recently.

He said: "I've been actually really enjoying getting to know Gwen better in the past two months."

And the 'Sugar' hitmaker, who partied with the duo at his Halloween party in Los Angeles last week, thinks it's great Gwen, who split from British rocker Gavin Rossdale in August after 13 years of marriage, and Blake, who divorced Miranda Lambert in July, are helping each other to heal and move on.

He told 'On Air with Ryan Seacrest': "People don't really realise that they are humans and they have problems just like everybody else. I love my friends, and I support my friends through everything."

Gwen, 46, and Blake, 39, were photographed holding hands for the first time at a Country Music Awards after-party in Nashville on Wednesday night (04.11.15) just hours after confirming their relationship.
