Amy Adams didn't want to look like a Hollywood star on her wedding day.

The 41-year-old actress married artist Darren Le Gallo in a private ceremony in May after 14 years of dating, and now she has revealed she wanted her Marchesa bridal dress to be the opposite of her usual red carpet outfits.
She told PEOPLE magazine: "My deal with it is I wanted something I would never wear on the red carpet. I wanted it to be so feminine."
Amy absolutely adored her custom gown from her nuptials and she intends to keep it forever.
She said: "It's custom! You can't make that into anything, you just put it in a box. I'll share a picture eventually, but I loved it so much. It was so pretty."
While the 'American Hustle' actress has won rave reviews for her own fashion choices, she has revealed Cate Blanchett is her own style icon.
She explained: "She's like my dream, because she's super elegant and she has the height so she can wear all of these modern designs. Everything she wears has a twist to it, and she just wears it so beautifully."
Asked what she outfits she plans to pass on to her five-year-old daughter Aviana in the future, she added: "I have some Oscar dresses ... but for life, my cashmere coats. Or maybe I'll never give them to her."
